I’ve been working with Curious Minds in schools in West Cumbria and looking at ways to makes scores and storyboards, using ideas about the environment locally. This is part of my Understory project, for 2024- 2025.

Respire’s illustrious and ethereal electronic arrangements mingle with acoustic riffs to hypnotically allow all notions of time and space to slip away. The album also sees Mackenzie work with the likes of saxophonist Faye MacCalman and harmonium player Kate Halsall.
